Klarna June 2012 – June 2013

Agile coach (June 2012 – June 2013)

Introduction of Agile working methods. Agile Coach

”I took David in as an agile coach/scrum master in a very early stage in the agile adoption at Klarna. He took on 2 teams, helping them to form a way of working. To help them go from nothing to a structured idea of how to develop products. He then took on 2 new teams, did the same journey with them. His prime qualities is that he can very easily come into new social settings, and create a trust with the teams. He has a strong integrity on how he feels the change process for teams and individuals look like, he puts a great deal of trust in the individuals and the teams, to be able to take the next step, to evolve. He is a facilitator of team evolvement. It helps the team grow. In my view, David deeply understands product development and how to lead a product development team.”
Tomas Lundborg, Operative Product Development Manager / WoW Manager at Klarna AB

”David worked as Agile Coach/Scrum Master for my team at Klarna, the Checkout team. He helped us and guide us in the process of creating our own ways of working, and just seeing how he managed that made me learn a lot about Agile and what it truly means. Instead of just implanting Scrum to the letter, he was very flexible and encouraged us to modify the process as much as we wanted, trusting in our decisions. That made us feel and perform better, as we worked as we wanted, and learn from our own decisions. I would like him to have stayed a bit longer, to keep learning from what he does: Agile at its finest.”Edu Zamora, Software Developer at Klarna AB
